3 days Zanzibar beach, Zanzibar Archipelago, located in the Indian Ocean 15 miles off the coast of Tanzania, is a breathtaking spot to escape from the world. You’ll enjoy clear, turquoise-blue water; shallow sandbars perfect for wading; and many small, nearly deserted islands virtually unvisited by tourists. Explore the World Heritage Site of Stone Town, Zanzibar City’s old quarter. Or just go beach to beach between tiny fishing villages—each one’s better than the next.

A day trip to a Maasai village and Kikuletwa Hotspring offers a captivating blend of cultural immersion and natural relaxation.

Start your journey by venturing into a Maasai village, where you’ll have the opportunity to interact with the Maasai people, renowned for their distinctive customs and traditional way of life. Learn about their rich heritage, witness traditional dances, and engage in conversations with the villagers to gain insight into their daily routines, beliefs, and rituals. You may also have the chance to participate in activities such as milking cows, making fire, or crafting traditional jewellery.

Marangu day trip has it all: culture, cuisine, caves and plenty of lively conversation. You’ll even take a dip in a waterfall or two, so bring your cozzie.

Marangu town nestles on the fertile slopes of majestic Mount Kilimanjaro, and it’s brimming with tradition. You’ll explore the culture and terrifying history of the Chagga Tribe (they built those caves for a reason) and you’ll take a short but delightful hike in the lush green landscape to a sparkling waterfall but, don’t worry, you won’t run out of energy because you’ll visit a coffee plantation and have the chance to roast and make your own coffee. The buzz you’ll get from our packed-so-full-it-hurts Marangu day trip won’t just be the caffeine.

All this culture is probably giving you an appetite, so our next stop is for a tasty and traditionally Chagga lunch at our favourite little restaurant, where you’ll be served a hot meal (veggies catered for!).

A local guide will lead you around Moshi, through local villages along the base of Kilimanjaro, and finally walk you around Moshi town. Every trip is a little different, but you may stop by a local school, visit a market, talk to farmers, whatever interesting comes along.

On this day trip, you will hike on the Marangu Route up to Mandara Hut for lunch. You will NOT reach the summit.
The hot springs of Kikuletwa, also known as Chemka Hot Springs, are close to the village of Rundugai and are one of the most beautiful places in Tanzania to relax. The small pond is surrounded by palm and fig trees with winding roots. In the morning, Blue Monkeys can often be observed in the trees, whilst the crystal clear, turquoise water invites you to a refreshing bath. Although they are called hot springs, the water in Kikuletwa is not truly ‘hot’ but refreshing, as the water source is fed by Kilimanjaro itself.
