Stone Town Tour and Prison Island Tour

• Morning: After breakfast at 9:00 am, embark on a guided Stone Town Tour. This tour will take you through the historical, cultural, and architectural highlights of Zanzibar’s oldest town:
  • Former Slave Market Site: Now the site of the Anglican Church, built in 1883, where you will learn about Zanzibar’s dark history of slavery.
  • Beit-Al-Ajab (House of Wonders): A palace that stands as a symbol of Zanzibar's rich history.
  • Old Arab Fort: A fortress built to defend against Portuguese invaders.
  • Palace Museum: Formerly a royal residence, now showcasing the history of Zanzibar’s sultans.
  • Old Indian Dispensary: A cultural center known for its beautiful architecture and history.
• Afternoon: At 2:30 pm, take a boat trip to Prison Island, known for its giant tortoises and clear waters:
  • Giant Tortoises: Meet the ancient tortoises that roam the island freely.
  • Beach and Reef Sanctuary: Enjoy time for swimming, snorkeling, and relaxing on the beach.
